With Granted, you can connect your insurance account to our app to import all your health plan’s claims, bills and benefits information.
This guide walks you through the process of connecting a current or past health plan with Granted.
Know Your Health Plan’s Name
Make sure you know the name of your health plan—it’s not the same as your doctor or hospital (we know, it’s a little confusing!). The easiest way to find it is by looking at your insurance card. The name of your health plan will be right there. Some examples of health plans are United Healthcare, Anthem, Cigna and Aetna.
Have an Online Account
To connect your insurance account, you need an existing online account with your health insurance company. It’s the same place you’d go to view your claims, check your deductible, or find a doctor.
Note: Don’t have an online account? Go to your health insurance plan’s website to set one up.

Connect Your Account to Granted
Open the Granted iOS app or go to app.grantedhealth.com
Go to the Insurance page in the app

Click on Add Insurance at the top right
Search for your medical, dental or vision insurance account by typing in the name in the search bar, and selecting your plan


Enter in the username and password that you use to login to your health insurance account’s online portal and click Submit. It may take 30 - 60 seconds to load after clicking Submit.

If your account has MFA (multi-factor authentication) set up, you will be prompted to:


Once your insurance account has been successfully connected, you will see a Success message in the app! To continue, you can click Tap to dismiss

Once your account has connected, it may take up to 30 minutes for all your claims and benefits information to be imported. You can see the import status of your account in the app.
